Summerland Sanitary District developed and implemented a Sewer System Management Plan (SSMP) to properly manage, operate, and maintain all parts of the sanitary sewer system.

The SSMP will help reduce and prevent sanitary sewer overflows and mitigate sanitary district overflows if they occur.
